
Microsoft on Tuesday released a native OneNote app for visionOS, demonstrating its commitment to customers using Apple Vision Pro. This comes after the company released Microsoft Office apps for Apple’s mixed reality headsets.
Microsoft OneNote is now available for Apple Vision Pro
A product manager at the company confirmed the news in a blog post. According to Microsoft, “OneNote takes advantage of the infinite canvas of spatial computing and can be viewed side-by-side with other great Microsoft apps,” and is already available on Apple Vision Pro. For those unfamiliar, OneNote is Microsoft’s note-taking software.
Microsoft says the visionOS version has “many of the features available in OneNote for iPad.” This includes writing notes, creating digital notebooks, highlighting important notes, creating to-do tags, locking notes with a password, syncing with OneDrive, and sharing with others. Features include:
Of course, the OneNote app for visionOS is tailored to take advantage of Apple Vision Pro hardware. You can use it hands-free or with a Bluetooth-paired keyboard or trackpad. The company also confirmed that support for Copilot and two-factor authentication will be added in a future update.
Microsoft is one of the companies that has offered visionOS apps since the launch of Apple Vision Pro. Users can find apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and more for VisionOS.
