Trevor Donovan on how ‘morally uplifting’ movies bring families together

Great American Family star Trevor Donovan hosted the 31st Annual MovieGuide® Awards and explained how uplifting entertainment brings families together.
“I’m so happy to be able to make such a morally uplifting and inspiring film,” he told Movieguide®. “It sets a good example for everyone watching and it’s great to see my little niece watching with her parents and grandparents. Yeah, I couldn’t be happier.”
He said it was “pretty surreal” to host a Hollywood awards ceremony, adding: “It’s certainly an honor to be here.”
Donovan continues his focus on provocative content with his upcoming film about President Ronald Reagan.
“I have a movie coming out with Dennis Quaid, and he just happens to be here and his band will be playing tonight as well. He plays Reagan in the Reagan biopic “REAGAN.” Masu. So, we’re looking forward to it being released in theaters and then he’s looking forward to getting back to working with GAF,” he said.
Donovan will host the Movieguide® Awards, which will air on March 7 at 8pm ET.
