“My Wife Has No Emotions” manga becomes anime series
I feel like Mr. Spock is going to get into this series. my wife has no feelings” (manga by Jiro Sugiura) will be made into a TV anime. The show will hit the screens in July.
Sugiura’s manga, which debuted in 2019, is a story about a robot housekeeper, her owner, and the possibility of their relationship developing into something more. Or as Seven Seas describes it:
Takuma is a single man who just goes to work and comes home. He also got tired of doing housework, so he decided to let the robot do the cooking and housework. “Mina-chan” is such a good housekeeper that Takuma jokes about making her his wife. Mina takes Takuma’s jokes seriously, and the two start doing things together, such as having a leisurely picnic outside. As time passes, Takuma begins to be attracted to Mina, but can humans and robots form an equal and loving relationship?
The anime version was directed by Fumihiro Yoshimura (kumi and tulip) Screenplay supervision at Tezuka Productions: Mitsutaka Hirota (edens zero). Toshiyuki Toyonaga will play Takuma, and Konomi Inagaki will play Mina.
