The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to Talladega, Alabama this weekend for the 2024 Ag-Pro 300. Talladega Superspeedway will host his event on Saturday, April 20th. The race begins at 4pm ET and will be broadcast on FOX.
The first two stages of the Ag-Pro 300 are 25 laps each, increasing to 63 laps for the final stage. Jeb Burton is the current winner of this race, and last year he took the checkered flag in 3:00:33 after eight extra laps. . He also won in 2021, but that race was shortened to 90 laps due to rain, and he won in 1 hour, 43 minutes, 13 seconds. Noah Gragson won in 2022, but needed 11 extra laps to win in 2 hours, 40 minutes, 52 seconds.
Austin Hill has never won this race before, but he is listed as the best chance to win this year at DraftKings Sportsbook. He is installed at +400, followed by AJ Allmendinger (+1000), Sheldon Creed (+1200), Riley Herbst (+1200), and Justin Allgaier (+1200). Sam Mayer won last week’s Xfinity Race, making it his second straight win at odds of +1500. Burton, who won last year, has +2500 odds to win back-to-back Ag-Pro 300s.
