Microsoft today announced a version of OneNote designed to run on Apple Vision Pro headsets. OneNote for Vision Pro is built for visionOS and includes many of the features available in OneNote for iPad.
The app can be used to create notes, memos, and digital notebooks, and there’s also an option to sync content to OneDrive for access across multiple platforms. Tags like “Important” and “To Do” are supported, and notes can be password protected.
OneNote on Vision Pro works hands-free or with an attached keyboard and mouse. In the future, Microsoft plans to add support for Copilot, two-factor authentication, and inserting images from the camera or Photos app.
OneNote is currently available for download from the visionOS App Store. This works with personal and work accounts that are not managed by your organization.
Microsoft makes many of its own apps available with Vision Pro, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
