The Wisconsin Badgers will take on the Illinois Fighting Illini in the Big Ten Tournament Finals, looking to close out the conference on a high note.
Are they next? The 2024 NCAA Basketball Tournament begins Sunday with the Selection Show scheduled for 5 p.m.
Wisconsin entered this week largely expected to earn the No. 6 seed in the tournament, but is projected to be the No. 5 seed after a strong showing in the Big Ten Tournament, including an important win over the Purdue Boilermakers.
The Badgers, riding a three-game winning streak heading into Sunday, are peaking at the perfect time and will look to carry their recent momentum into the tournament starting next week.
The selection show will take place immediately after the match on TV, so we will ultimately find out our fate after Sunday's match.
The show can be watched live on Sundays at 5pm CT on CBS and streamed on Paramount+, with analysts Clark Kellogg, Jay Wright and Seth Davis joining host Adam Zucker in New York. I will appear.
In addition, NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Chairman Charles McClelland will also be joining the show after its release.
Currently, Wisconsin has the 20th-best odds of making the Final Four, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, but that could largely depend on ties and side of the bracket.
However, their outlook is trending upwards ahead of March Madness, which could bode well for their future.
