A new sci-fi series has taken Netflix by storm and has viewers on the edge of their seats as fans clamor for season 2 after an “unexpected” open ending.
Parasite: The Grey was released on streaming platforms on April 5th, and the creepy thriller has already achieved a cult following, with many fans binge-watching the series.
The six-part series is based on the manga “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki, which also consists of six episodes.
This action-packed Korean drama is set several months after a mysterious spore falls from the sky and begins infecting many citizens.
Jeong Su-in is a store clerk infected with one of the unidentified parasites, but doesn’t seem to be affected by its powers.
Once parasitizing and infecting the human mind, the parasite can control it and generate terrifying powers like razor-sharp tentacles from the host’s head.
However, in Suyin’s case, she still has control over her mind, which makes her a valuable asset to the special task force known as the Greys.
Suyin enlists the help of authorities who use her so-called resistance to combat the threat. So, will the parasite be able to achieve its only primary goal of infecting and taking over humanity?
According to avid fans, the answer seems to lie in the possibility of a second season.
Regarding X, many viewers expressed their excitement for the “amazing” new series and expectations for the next season.

One anime fan was impressed and wrote, “Well done especially to those who have watched the anime.” We’re all set for the second season, especially with the introduction of some very familiar characters at the end. ”
A final viewer commented, “As a fan of proverbs, the final moments of the show are amazing.”[sic]..don’t show us that and give us Netflix for season 2.
This comes as Netflix fans have recently become “obsessed” with new foreign-language crime dramas.
Wrond Side of the Tracks is the story of a military veteran who seeks revenge on a Madrid gang who kidnapped his adopted granddaughter.
All 32 episodes of the show, named Entrivas in Spanish after the region in which it is set, are available with subtitles on Netflix.
