New Netflix movies have already flooded the platform this year, and one of them has been dubbed “one of the worst movies of all time.”
Only two months old, Netflix hasn’t really focused on original content. From Avatar: The Last Airbender and One Day to Griselda and Fool Me Once, the platform was packed with new stories.
In addition to this, Netflix has managed to revive movies from its forgotten days over the past few weeks, such as “Horrible Bosses 2” and “Made in Italy.”

But one of Netflix’s new movies hasn’t been such a huge success, with fans already calling it “one of the worst movies ever made.”
Netflix’s new number one movie is ‘one of the worst movies ever made’
Bad news for Tyler Perry’s new Netflix movie Mea Culpa, which fans are calling “one of the worst movies ever made” just days after its release.
The official synopsis for Mea Culpa, which stars singer Kelly Rowland, reads: “A criminal defense attorney takes on the case of a seductive artist accused of murdering his girlfriend, but a burning desire develops… Things get hot and dangerous.”

Launched on the platform on February 23rd, viewers had just a few days to voice their honest opinions, and they didn’t hold back.
“Yesterday I gave Mea Culpa a chance. This is probably the worst thing ever, literally the worst movie ever,” one fan posted on X/Twitter following the film’s release.

Others agreed: “Mere Kalpa might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen.” “Mere Kalpa has got to be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.” Besides, the movie isn’t finished yet. ”

For some, the problem is believed to be with Tyler Perry himself, previously best known for his comedic character Mabel “Madea” Simmons.
“Mea Kalpa…3/10 I fell in love with the acting and storyline!” another fan also opined. “Tyler Perry needs to retire…and the woman they played her stepmother to is now that snow-white, ginger-wig-wearing woman she looks like she’s going to marry. “The movie seemed rushed.” I don’t think anything about it.” ”

Another said, “Now I have time…what kind of nonsense did this MEA CULPA movie end up with?” Tyler Perry needs a new screenwriter. ”
On Rotten Tomatoes, Netflix’s new movie also didn’t do very well, with a Tomatometer score of just 14%. The audience rating score was also struggling at 39%, which is not that bad.
Benjamin Lee of the Guardian wrote, “It may start out as an erotic thriller, but it’s a humid relationship before winding its way to a climax hinged on mostly pointless, head-wrenching developments.” “The drama will slow down.”

Meal Culpa is now available to stream (we know, but maybe we’ll change our minds).
