Christy King of Dearborn County has 25 years of sales experience in the Cincinnati market.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg and Lawrenceburg Event Center have hired a new sales director to oversee group sales efforts for both properties in downtown Lawrenceburg.
“We are excited to welcome Christy King as our new Director of Sales,” said Mike Galle, President and General Manager of Hollywood Casino and Lawrenceburg Event Center. “Christi brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the tri-state hospitality industry that will help us continue to grow our group, conference and wedding business.”
As Director of Sales, Mr. King will lead all group sales efforts for the 298-room casino hotel, 168-room event center DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, event center and casino meeting/event space. A longtime resident of Dearborn County, she graduated from East Central High School in St. Leon, Indiana.
A hotel industry veteran with 25 years of sales experience in the Cincinnati market, Mr. King most recently served as Director of Sales and Catering at Holiday Inn Cincinnati North/West Chester, Center Park of West Chester and Holiday Inn Express Liberty Way. Served for a year. Previously, from 2016 to 2018 he served as sales director for Commonwealth Hotels Inc., and from 2006 to 2016 he served as area sales manager for Drury Hotels in northern Cincinnati.
The public is invited to an open house on Sunday, March 24 from noon to 5 p.m., where they can tour the Lawrenceburg Event Center and meet the various vendors working with the facility to host events . The Event Center is conveniently located at 91st Street. Downtown Lawrenceburg, on Walnut Street, features an 18,000-square-foot exhibition/concert facility, a 7,500-square-foot ballroom, a 12,000-square-foot meeting room, and the 150-seat No’ce Italian American Kitchen & Bar.
