New TV shows and movies are being added

Peacock’s new TV and movie releases April 22-28, 2024 include original and unrated versions of the film M3GAN Choose your season of The Andy Griffith Show.

Starting Monday, April 22nd, Peacock subscribers will be able to check out select seasons of The Andy Griffith Show. This is a series of sitcoms in which Andy Griffith plays Andy Taylor, the widowed sheriff of the fictional town of Mayberry, North Carolina.

Then, on Wednesday, April 24, viewers will be able to stream both the original and unrated versions of M3GAN on Peacock. M3GAN is his science fiction horror film about an artificially intelligent doll that becomes self-aware and hostile towards anyone who threatens it or its human companions. Directed by Gerald Johnston from a script written by Akeela Cooper.

Also releasing this week from Peacock is Curious Caterer: Foiled Plans. This is a TV movie that revolves around a festival at Goldie Berry’s medieval Hyde Castle that is interrupted by a murder. Berry then teams up with a detective named Schultz to solve the murder mystery before the killer reappears.

Another Peacock release this week is “Branching Out.” This is a heartwarming story about a single mother’s attempts to find her daughter’s biological father to help her create a family tree.
