This weekend is a big weekend for the new TV, and its first weekend. There’s a lot to cover today, including the most anticipated. the walking dead There are still spin-offs, remakes of beloved classics, and other cool stuff.
Instead of pre-ambling, re-ambling, or just rambling, get started right away. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s new and noteworthy this weekend. . . .
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (AMC)
Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira return as Rick and Michonne people who were alive, Once upon a time, a long time ago, a new television series was supposed to be a series of movies. I don’t know if the difference really matters.I haven’t seen this yet so I can’t speak to its quality, but I’m sure I’ll be watching it on Sunday night along with the others the walking dead Since I am a fan who still cares, I will post my summary/review on this blog later. I’m both excited and confused. I can’t say I care so much that I fear this is a bad thing, but I’m a little disappointed that I’m expecting so much more from the creators of this series at this point and have been given so little. I’m tired of it. We hope you will be pleasantly surprised.
Avatar: The Last Airbender (Netflix)
I’ve already started watching Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon’s popular animated fantasy western series. Avatar: The Last Airbender And unfortunately I have to report that I was mostly very disappointed. I wrote a review (here) and made a video about the show (here). We’ll keep you covered as you continue watching. But it’s not as good as the original.
Resident Alien (season 3 on Peacock, first season on Netflix)
I noticed resident foreigner It’s now on Netflix, which I’ve never seen before, so I was super excited to share this absolute piece with everyone who may have missed it. jewelry of the program.Alan Tudyk is just amazing In this great comedy, aliens come to destroy Earth, disguise themselves as humans, and then… . Well, you just have to look and find out. It’s very funny, it deals with indigenous issues and small town America in a really smart and thoughtful way, and it’s a really unique and great series. I don’t want to spoil it, but please take a look. Oh, and I found out a few weeks ago that Season 3 has started airing on SyFy and Peacock. How did I miss that?
The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy (Amazon Prime Video)
An adult animated comedy series about two alien doctors who tackle a dangerous case that could destroy the universe. I don’t know if it’s right up my alley, but it might be right up your alley. Kieran Culkin is in it, and I love him.
Priscilla (Max)
I haven’t seen the new one yet elvis As for the movie, I’m more interested in A24. Priscilla However, this may be because the running time is less than 2 hours. elvis Close to 3. It might actually be a good double feature if you’re having a long day with nothing to do.
Everything, Anywhere, All at Once (Netflix)
I have mixed feelings about this martial arts multi-world movie, but it was certainly a huge hit and won basically every award. I think it was good, but it was too long and to be honest, I’m really tired of the multiverse. If you haven’t seen it, you should. Despite its flaws, this is a good movie (and very weird, so consider watching it in a psychedelic mood!), and it’s currently available on Netflix.
Marcel the Shell with Shoes on (Netflix)
I’ve been interested in this lovely looking A24 film for years, but have yet to see it. The trailer is super cute though. It’s about a seashell named Marcel who wears shoes and is searching for his family. If you’re looking for something quirky and heartwarming, this might be the one for you.
In addition to this new Hello The show is still running its second (improved, but still controversial) season, but I still can’t get into it.Big names left off this week’s list true detective night land Things came to a close last Sunday with a pretty gruesome finale. C’est la vie.

- i’m just starting happy valley Available on AMC+ (via Amazon), the first season was one of the most gripping police dramas I’ve ever seen. There was an episode where I almost fell off my chair and was on the edge of my seat. I would like to write an article about it soon. It’s truly abnormal.
- Anime fans may want to go see it Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba pillar training It’s released in theaters, but I’m not an expert on the series, so I can’t say anything other than what it’s released in theaters.
