But Wolves have won three of their last four Premier League games since mid-December, losing just two, so the benefit appears to be wearing off from there.
Gary O’Neill’s side also returned twice to draw with the Magpies at Molineux on October 28, with Mario Lemina and Hwang Hee-chan canceling out Callum Wilson’s brace.
Newcastle have been scoring a lot of goals of late, winning just two league games since mid-December, winning two, drawing two and losing five, losing 24-18.
All of this led to the Wolves. On top of that Newcastle are at the top of the table with 38 points. The Magpies are in 10th place with 37 points, but a loss could see them drop out of the top 10 and Chelsea could win.

Alexander Isak remains the attacking X-factor, but it’s the midfield that will make or break Newcastle. Joe Willock is healthy and expected to help, while Elliott Anderson is also ready to take the field after a long injury spell.
OUT: Sandro Tonali (suspension), Callum Wilson (shoulder), Joelinton (thigh), Nick Pope (shoulder), Matt Targett (thigh).
