Nicki Minaj doesn’t seem to be in a good place at the moment.
First she was arrested in Amsterdam in May after police allegedly found “dozens of joints” in her luggage. Now fans are watching her pour out her feelings on social media.
And last night, Nicki Minaj may have announced her divorce!

Late Monday, the rapper donned a silk turban and nightgown and spoke to the camera on Twitter.
Whatever the reason, she detailed the birth of her son in 2020 at the time, explaining to listeners:
“One day the doctor screams, ‘push,’ and you’re in pain. And one day a beautiful baby boy is born.”
Minaj then got quiet for a moment and whispered into the camera.
“I thank God for your glory.
“Congratulations to him and my mom upstairs. You guys are doing a great job. If no one has told you that before, you guys are doing a great job.”
Of course, this is a lovely sentiment: Minaj is simply remembering her own birth and mourning her late mother.

However, there is another side to this story that has fans and followers worried and curious.
The video was shared hours after divorce rumors began circulating on social media, as the Grammy Award winner shared a cryptic post online that simply read:
“Yes, I’m single.”
Her cryptic post: What does that mean?!
Now, Minaj could have just been watching a baseball game and rooting for her team, or she could have been previewing an upcoming song.
But perhaps she was referring to her controversial connection to her husband, Kenneth Petty.
Petty is registered as a Level 2 sex offender in New York state and served several years in prison for both attempted first-degree rape and first-degree manslaughter.
He and Minaj married in 2019.
After moving to California to live with Minaj in 2020, Petty was sentenced to house arrest and probation in 2022 for failing to register as a sex offender in the state.
Nicki fans divided over divorce rumors
Minaj’s supporters aren’t sure what to make of her latest message.
For example, user @Bunbarbive commented, “I just saw Nicki’s Instagram story and I’m worried. I don’t even know what’s going on with her.”
“She scares me,” another wrote.
Added longtime fans and users:
“I am so worried about Nikki and pray that she is well and finds the strength to overcome whatever challenges she is facing right now. She will forever have my support and love.”
