In a press statement, he said that the 26th Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s recommendations include “test-tube infants, mother-fetal science, follow-up of pregnant women during labor, and advanced gynecological endoscopy. We aim to apply artificial intelligence to specialized fields.” .
He said that some of the recommendations include research into telemedicine, which can contact international experts and provide medical services remotely in the areas of training, treatment and the use of AI. Dr. Al-Husseini said that among the recommendations: the use of artificial intelligence in women’s various specialties, while affirming that at present it does not rely on artificial intelligence, but on the human element that is the foundation of medicine. He said that a careful phased introduction is necessary.
She said that Dr. Mohammad Al Jalala and Dr. Khalid Al Maskoor, Chairman of the Islamic Medical Organization, had contributed to the preparation of recommendations on the use of AI, and that it should not be ignored when complying with Sharia.
