The hit musical Sunset Boulevard received 11 nominations, including Best Actress in a Musical for Scherzinger and Best Actor in a Musical for Tom Francis.
And Dear England, James Graham’s play about Gareth Southgate, received nine points, with Joseph Fiennes taking first.
The Olivier is considered the most prestigious awards event in British theatre.
