For All Mankind has been renewed for a fifth season, and Apple has also ordered a new spinoff series.
This critically acclaimed science fiction series explores an alternate history in which the Soviet Union became the first country to land a man on the moon, spurring the global space race.
Created by Matt Wolpert, Ben Nedivi, and Ronald D. Moore, the series debuted on Apple TV Plus in 2019 and was quickly renewed for a second season, premiering in 2021 and published on Rotten Tomatoes. We recorded 100% fresh. Season 3 premiered in 2022. Season 4 concluded in January of this year and also received his 100% Fresh rating.
The ensemble cast includes Joel Kinnaman, Jodi Balfour, Len Schmidt, Chantel VanSanten, Kris Marshall, Saicy Wu, Coral Peña, Eddie Gathegi, Toby Kebbell, and Daniel Stern.

Also directed by Wolpert, Nedivy and Moore, the spin-off series entitled Star City will be set at a “key moment in the alternate history of the space race, when the Soviet Union became the War of the Worlds. A propulsive paranoia thriller that takes us back. It was the first country to land a man on the moon. ” The new series will focus on the lives of cosmonauts, engineers and intelligence officers integrated into the Soviet space program.
