Survival crafting game The Planet Crafter released to 1.0 this week, ending years of early access with a big patch that added a multiplayer online co-op mode for up to 10 players. Big changes have been made to the previous single-player landing, survival experience. , and terraforming a desolate alien world.
This release also includes three new biomes to explore on a terraforming alien world, and new animals introduced to the environment that are completely unlike anything in The Planet Crafter to date. The main reason is that they are very large.
There’s also new information about the world (these days called lore) to discover, as well as new endgame elements to discover as your terraforming project nears completion. For example, there are new procedural wrecks to go out and discover, all filled with rare technology and materials to salvage.
It also includes elements of the usual survival game patches. New items to craft, new ways to learn materials, new animations, new movies introduced, quality of life and performance improvements.
The Planet Crafter is available on Steam and is 30% off ($17) until April 24th.
