The Great British Bake Off’s eternal star baker Paul Hollywood received royal recognition for his baking today (April 17).
The TV star was awarded an MBE at Windsor Castle for his services to baking and broadcasting by Princess Anne. he joked He said he would like to see Royal appear on Bake Off.

“The rest of the year will be filled with Bake Off, which I love,” he added. “It’s established itself as a global brand. Big star celebrities are contacting me to come to set. We’re just stunned. This little baking program in a tent has become this big… It caused a stir.”

“I wish my nan had seen it. Like all of us, she loved the royal family very much. But she especially would have been overjoyed. But today my mother is here. I was very happy because I was there.”
