The Great British Bake Off’s eternal star baker Paul Hollywood received royal recognition for his baking today (April 17).
The TV star was awarded an MBE at Windsor Castle for his services to baking and broadcasting by Princess Anne. he joked He said he would like to see Royal appear on Bake Off.
After being awarded the MBE, Hollywood said of the show in an interview with PA: season 15 It’s starting soon.American version and Face the Gun Bake Off.
“The rest of the year will be filled with Bake Off, which I love,” he added. “It’s established itself as a global brand. Big star celebrities are contacting me to come to set. We’re just stunned. This little baking program in a tent has become this big… It caused a stir.”

The GBBO judge spoke about how he felt upon receiving the MBE, saying he was “extremely proud” and added:I [first found out] I told my mother about it, but she remained silent on the phone. She is quite unusual for a mother.
“I wish my nan had seen it. Like all of us, she loved the royal family very much. But she especially would have been overjoyed. But today my mother is here. I was very happy because I was there.”
