Apple trade-ins aren’t known for their generosity, but they do offer a very painless experience when upgrading to a new device.And the company will accept it Any Old electronics can be recycled if the trade-in value is too low.
The company is currently linking to a trade-in and recycling page from Apple’s homepage for this year’s Earth Day on April 22nd.

This Earth Day, put your used devices to good use. Trade in your item and get credit towards your next purchase. If the item is not eligible, we will recycle it free of charge.
You can literally bring any old device, including any Apple product, to an Apple Store and have it recycled.
