believers The film tells the story of three young, ambitious entrepreneurs who fail and end up deep in debt. Their fortunes seem to change when they stumble upon an unconventional business opportunity that capitalizes on people’s faith.
The series focuses on the delicate balance between respect for religion and the pursuit of wealth. James Teeradon Supapunpinyo (Win), Peach Pachara Chirathivat (Game), and Ally Achiraya Nitibhon (Dear) expertly bring their protagonists to life as they navigate the dark world of religious politics and ill-gotten gains. The story interweaves the personal struggles of the three main characters, each grappling with their own family issues amidst a quarter-life crisis. Through their journey, the audience is invited to question their own beliefs.
Director Wattanapon brings his creative vision to the series. When asked about his own approach to the sensitive subject of religion, he said: “We didn’t create this series to criticize religion. But we wanted to explore questions we’ve always had and find answers through our characters and their stories.”
He further adds: “Our goal is to make people question what they’re used to seeing. Religious or not, viewers will have a variety of perspectives. That will encourage people to talk and discuss. If so, we have achieved what we set out to do. believers”
