1990s indie dance rockers Gossip today announced special guests for their summer show at the National Museum of Ireland Collins Barracks.
On August 27th, Irish garage punk collective Sprint and New York’s new wave trip Nation of Language will support Gossip at Collins Barracks.
Over the past three years, Dublin four-piece band Sprint have made a name for themselves by turning pain into truth, passion into purpose, and perseverance into strength. They gained recognition for their captivating live performances, supporting esteemed artists such as Yard Act and Suede, while also releasing his two critically acclaimed EPs.
Sprint’s latest release, debut album letter to myself, marking a major evolution in their sound. Delving into a space of vulnerability and honesty, they inject a tangible sense of catharsis into their visceral garage punk, displaying new levels of depth and sonic excellence.
Nation of Language, a trio from New York, has found a rapidly expanding fan base around the world with their dynamic fusion of new wave, post-punk, and shoegaze styles.

This new exposure earned them a debut on late-night television, a series of sold-out tours, and solidified their place in the music scene.
On March 22nd, Gossip released their first album since 2012, “ real power.Beth Ditto, Nathan Howdeshell and Hannah Briley reunite with famed producer Rick Rubin, known for producing their 2009 album music for men. The new album marks a triumphant comeback, celebrating the catharsis of artistic self-expression and the resilience of a chosen family amid collective and personal trauma.
