Dibakar Banerjee spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput and the events that happened after his untimely death.
Director Dibakar Banerjee He worked with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the film Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. He said that the events that happened after Sushant’s untimely death in 2020 made him distance himself from everything.Dibakar He is currently promoting the movie “LSD 2”. He said Sushant had “endless curiosity” and everyone “loved being with him”.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Dibakar said: “He talked a lot about science and sociology and all sorts of things. He was always asking questions. I really liked that part of him. Everybody loved being with him. Dibakar said Sushant “gives his all to everything” and added, “I have great memories with him. That’s why I’m sad.”

Dibakar then spoke about how after Sushant’s death, the conversation focused on the events leading up to Sushant’s death rather than mourning the young actor’s death. “After he passed away, all this news that followed made me turn away from everything. I had heard a lot of stories, but I didn’t know how the young actor died. No one spoke. There was no sadness and people wanted gossip on this story. After seeing it…no one said Sushant was missing, so I had to walk away from the situation. ” he said.

Dibakar said no one was talking about Sushant’s achievements and the conversations were only focused on “conspiracy, drugs and murder”. “Where is that prayer meeting? Where is the retrospective of his films? Those who loved him could hold screenings of his films and talk about fond memories. But where did all that go?” Mr. Dibakar said Sushant was “a gateway to misery”. “Where is the lament?” Dibakar asked.
Sushant passed away at his home in Mumbai in June 2020.
