
Apple Valley, California (VVNG.com) — A 17-year-old Apple Valley teenager has been arrested after allegedly assaulting two people at his home, officials said.
On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at approximately 10:43 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21300 block of Pine Ridge Avenue in reference to an assault.
Deputy Chief K. Mammolito responded and contacted the parties, identified as a 16-year-old male from Apple Valley and a 27-year-old male from Adelanto.
“The investigation revealed that a 17-year-old male had threatened another juvenile inside the residence. An adult at the residence restrained the juvenile and caused him to be scratched and bitten. Prior to the threat, the juvenile had been watching television. “He ripped it off the wall and later smashed the TV, creating a large hole in the wall,” sheriff’s officials said in a written statement.
The juvenile suspect was arrested and booked into the High Desert Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal intimidation, and criminal damage to property.
