Baseball is coming back to Tennessee.

To remain compliant with Title IX guidelines, TSU also plans to add women’s soccer, swimming and diving within the same time frame.
TSU announced last year that it would add hockey and hopes to begin play in the 2024-25 season.

TSU’s baseball program was discontinued after the 1993 season due to lack of funds. The Tigers joined the Ohio Valley Conference in 1988 and finished last or next to last in each of their last six seasons.
A fundraiser was held in the fall of 1993 to restore the program.

TSU uses search firm to select next women’s basketball coach
TSU has hired University Consulting to find its next women’s basketball coach. Ty Evans He resigned on April 4th after four seasons.
College Consulting began searching for Mr. Evans’ replacement last week.
TSU entered the 2023-24 season with an 11-19 record and a 7-11 record, finishing eighth in the OVC.
