Mr. Bates v. the Post Office – ★★★★☆
The landmark drama that propelled the Post Office Horizon scandal to the top of the political agenda. It follows the true story of former Deputy Postmaster General Alan Bates, who refused for years to let the Post Office get away with arguing that the Horizon accounting system worked and that accounting irregularities meant the officials who controlled the system were thieves. Gladiator – ★★★★☆
The BBC has rebooted the hit ITV show, which ran for 30 years. In each episode, four players (two men and two women) take on a group of elite athletes, the “Gladiators”.
