It seems that information leaks about Google’s next Pixel 8a are continuing. Some live images were released a few days ago that purportedly showed it, but a new leak has arrived today showing all four colors that will be available.
These are called Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Bay (blue), and Mint (very self-explanatory). All of this has been seen before on other Pixel devices as well. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro come in a mint color, while the latter also comes in a bay version.
This leak source claims that the Pixel 8a will finally be officially announced at the Google I/O conference on May 14th. That means there’s still over a month to go, which means there will likely be more leaks.
The overall design of Pixel 8a is similar to Pixel 8, with a matte texture on the back. The 8a is expected to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, and Google’s own Tensor G3 SoC will take on that role. The Pixel 8a should have a 4,500 mAh battery, a 64 MP main rear camera, and a 13 MP ultrawide camera on the side.
The Pixel 8a was recently rumored to launch at a higher price than its predecessor, and of course it will be powered by Google Fi Wireless in the US. In fact, Google’s carrier may have leaked the Pixel 8a itself last week.
