CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – She was born in Houston, Texas on April 17, 1972, but her family moved to Charleston, West Virginia when Jennifer Garner was three years old.
Throughout her career, she has shown pride in the state where she grew up. She also helped raise funds for her relief efforts after the devastating floods that hit parts of the state in 2016. Ms. Garner is also an advocate for early childhood education.
Garner graduated from George Washington High School in Charleston and studied chemistry at Denison University before switching his major to theater.
