A tram crash at Universal Studios Hollywood leaves 15 people injured.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the theme park just after 9pm local time on Saturday.
According to the announcement, 15 people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident occurred when the last car of the tram collided with a metal guardrail and “tilted over, throwing several passengers out.” California This was revealed by the Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol said some of the injuries were “moderate,” but did not say how many were injured.
The tram is used to take park visitors on behind-the-scenes tours of the sets of Universal’s major movies and television shows.
Sheriff’s Lt. Maria Abar suggested there may have been a problem with the four-car streetcar’s brakes.
The Highway Patrol, which is leading the investigation, said alcohol and drugs were not considered factors.
A Universal Studios spokesperson told The Associated Press there were “multiple minor injuries,” but did not provide further details about the accident.

Dubbed the World Famous Studio Tour, the tram route features movie sets such as the 1975 classic Jaws and Jordan Peele’s recent hit Nope.
The accident comes as Universal Studios Hollywood prepares to commemorate the tour’s 60th anniversary, with celebrations scheduled to begin Friday.
