NFL player Travis Kelce will host a new game show on Amazon Prime Video.
Are you smarter than celebrities? Contestants will be seen answering elementary-level trivia questions with the help of famous guests.
It’s a spin-off from Fox’s popular series “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?,” which started in 2007.
Kelsey, 34, who is also known as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, said he “grew up loving game shows” and said the series was “definitely going to be interesting.”
He won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in February, marking Kelce’s third championship.
“I grew up loving game shows, so I’m excited to follow in the footsteps of so many television icons by hosting my first show,” Kelce said in a statement.
“The original show has been a huge success, so bringing everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen and bringing a new format will definitely be interesting.”
He added: “I’m thrilled to be the host of the equation here and can’t wait to see how these famous faces continue.”
According to Amazon, the new series will feature adult contestants relying on a “classroom” filled with celebrities to answer 11 questions from an elementary school curriculum.
The winner of the show will take home a prize of $100,000 (£80,300). “They are not competing with the stars, they are asking for their help, and in some cases can even ‘cheat’ them from them,” the streamer said.
Twenty episodes of the series have been ordered on Amazon.
Kelce also currently hosts a sports podcast called New Heights.
