Amazon Prime Video has officially ordered a 20-episode season of “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” from MGM Alternative, the streamer announced on Tuesday. As previously reported, variety, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” The spinoff will be hosted by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“I grew up loving game shows, so I’m excited to follow in the footsteps of so many television icons by hosting my first show, ‘Are You Smarter than Celebrities?'” said Kelce. “The original show has been a huge success, so bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities on screen will definitely be interesting.
