I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! The Australian squad came to a thrilling conclusion on Sunday night with Skye Wheatley being sent off as the ‘Queen of the Jungle’.
Making it to the final two, Skye faced Irish TV presenter Tristan McManus, but after an “incredibly close” public vote, the social media star came away with the following result: $100,000 to her charity of choice, Bully Zero.
However, many viewers on social media were not happy with the developments on the jungle reality show and took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their dissatisfaction.
After the winner was announced, one user wrote, “Shame on you,” while another wrote, “I do.” I have no opinion on Skye, because I have no idea who she is or what she does. This year’s I’m a Celebrity isn’t an event. ”
Another X user held a spray gun aimed at voters and wrote: “You never know who voted for Sky.” She went on to do many things, most of which were just dressing up. In my opinion, Tristan definitely should have gotten a more deserved and genuine victory. ”
“If you didn’t know tonight that a no-nonsense former reality show contestant would be crowned the winner, you probably wouldn’t have paid attention. But having an actual celebrity come in second place worked.” ” wrote another viewer.
Some viewers were also confused that their favorite celebrity didn’t win in the end.
“I only saw this show through Callum’s TikToks” [Hole] But it’s a shame he didn’t win…he’s my new favorite reality personality, I love him so much that it’s honestly unintentionally funny,” one user wrote to a former love.・I wrote about the Islander.
However, there were many positive comments about this year’s season, with viewers overwhelmingly praising the show’s new co-host, Robert Irwin.
One user said: “I thought Robert would bring some warmth and genuine excitement this year. Then I noticed there were fewer clinical trials using animals. I always worried because I thought it was a bit cruel.” “It was,” he wrote.
“Such a great season. The great group of celebrities and Robert were a great addition along with Julia,” another commented.
“Robert is truly a great entertainer and successor to Dr. Chris.” [Brown]” posted another I’m A Celebrity fan.
This happened after Wheatley’s victory in Sunday’s competition, when she broke down in tears as she reflected on her time on the show.
“I’m really happy to have experienced that. Thank you to everyone here for having me,” she said.
“I’m just shocked. I’ll say it again – to be able to have this opportunity and go through what I went through and do it for these three amazing boys and the rest of the world. , I feel really happy…
“I feel like the whole journey, the whole experience has taught me a lot. I can’t wait to apply these things to my daily life.”
The former Big Brother Australia star added: “I felt like I could be myself forever.”
