Meta’s Build 64 update for Quest 3, Quest Pro, and Quest 2 headsets, scheduled to roll out starting the week of April 8, 2024, includes several new features and enhancements aimed at improving the user experience. has been introduced. One notable addition is the ability for Quest 3 users to use apps while sleeping. This feature is[設定]of[実験]section, which allows users to play media or participate in static immersive games in a reclined position. Activation is easy. Toggle the “Use apps while I sleep” option and reset your view by holding down the designated button while you sleep. One of the more notable features is the Quest 3’s increased 8K passthrough resolution, bringing passthrough clarity much closer to premium headsets such as the Apple Vision Pro.
Additionally, this update provides external microphone support for Quest 3 headsets only. The user can connect the microphone directly to his USB-C port or through an adapter. To switch to an external microphone, go to Experiment Settings and select the appropriate option. Cast functionality has also been improved. Removing the headset while casting to the Meta Quest app will no longer interrupt your stream, ensuring a continuous viewing experience. If your friends share your location online, the ability to directly join them in Meta Horizon Worlds enhances your social interactions.
