Celebrity Big Brother is returning after a five-year hiatus with a new series set to hit our screens.
The show debuted in 2021 as a spin-off from the main Big Brother series and features a number of high-profile events, including George Galloway pretending to be a cat, Gemma Collins kicking off over a challenge, and Vanessa Felts’ meltdown. It has provided viewers with the perfect moment.
CBB has produced more than 20 winners over the years, many of whom were already big stars, while others have become big stars since their time on the reality show.
Take a look at what some of the show’s most memorable winners have been up to.
katie price
Mr Price beat out Katie Hopkins to win the show in 2015. Her life has certainly changed since her win. At the time, she was married to her third husband, Kieran Hayler, but they later split and she continued an on-and-off relationship with Carl Woods. She is currently in a romance with “Married at First Sight” star JJ Slater.
The star has also been diverse in her career, starting her own podcast called The Katie Price Show and signing up to the adult-only platform OnlyFans. Price continued to be a panelist on Loose Women, which ended several years ago, and also appeared on her own show. The show, titled Katie Price’s Mackie Mansion, saw the model transform her run-down Sussex home into her luxurious family home.
Chantel Houghton
Horton was the only CBB winner who was not a star at the time he competed in the fly-on-the-wall show. In a twist, she was just an ordinary person who had to convince real celebrities that she was part of a fictional girl band called Candy Floss.
Her series, which aired in 2006, was a huge success and made Horton a star. After her win, she launched her own show called “Chantelle: Living The Dream,” published her book, and worked as a model. She also returned to the house for Ultimate Big Brother.
She married Ordinary Boys frontman Samuel Preston in late 2006 after falling in love with each other in the house. However, the two broke up after less than a year, and in 2008, Houghton reportedly said in an interview that a month after her marriage, Preston told her: ”
Houghton had a child with former housemate Alex Reid, but they later split.
stephen bear
Former On the Beach star Bear won the reality show in 2016 and has since gone on to appear on The Challenge, Just Tattoos of Us, Eating With My Ex, He has appeared on many shows such as “Celebs Go Dating.”
He made headlines in 2023 for a revenge porn scandal involving The Only Way to Essex star Georgia Harrison. He was found guilty and sentenced to 21 months in prison for sharing an intimate video of himself with Harrison on OnlyFans.
Baer was released in January after serving more than 10 months in prison.

Rylan got his first glimpse of fame as a contestant on The X Factor in 2012 and made such a splash that he appeared on CBB House the following year. No wonder he won, because he charmed everyone with his wit and jokes.
Since then, his career has skyrocketed. Rylan went on to present on a number of shows, including spin-offs The Extra Factor, This Morning and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. He has his own series, including Up Late with Rylan and Babushka, and joined BBC Radio 2 in 2018. The star also hosted Strictly spin-off It Takes Two and realized his lifelong dream when he was chosen to present at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Rylan married two years after CBB and married Dan Neal in 2015. However, in 2021, the two went their separate ways.
Ulrika Jonsson
Jonsson won in 2009 and joked that it must have been a “fix” when his name was announced. “This was the strangest experience of my life. I’ve led a pretty strange life,” she told host Davina McCall in her exit interview.
The Gladiator star faced the boot several times, but was always saved as it was a huge hit with viewers.
Since staying in the house, Johnson has appeared on bizarre reality shows such as Celebrity Masterchef, Celebrity SAS: Who Challenges Wins and Celebs Go Dating.
However, judging by her social media, she seems to be enjoying a home life with her family and beloved dogs.
sarah harding
The late Girls Aloud star Harding wrote in her book Hear Me Out: “Celebrity Big Brother was, for me, a disaster waiting to happen.” She was a housemate in 2017 and despite her comments, she took the contest by storm with her fans and was crowned the winner.
Just three years later, the singer told fans that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Ms Harding revealed that her infection had spread, telling her followers on social media: “I’m fighting as hard as I can.”
Sadly, she passed away in September 2021 at the age of 39 after a battle with illness. Her mother Marie announced her passing, saying her “beautiful” daughter was a “bright shining star”.
The remaining members of Girls Aloud wrote touching tributes, with Nicola Roberts writing: You tried your best and still kept smiling. ”
