MSFT stock is a solid long-term growth investment with a year-to-date return of 14% and a dividend yield of 0.7%.
Microsoft’s ability to monetize AI positions it well for long-term growth. The stock is highly valued, and Keybanc has raised its price target to $490. morgan stanley (New York Stock Exchange:M.S.) $520. This is why I think these price targets are cheap over the long term.
Ads in the Windows 11 start menu

Initially limited to Windows Insiders in the US beta channel, these ads can be disabled in Windows 11 settings. Microsoft is seeking feedback on the reputation of this feature and may adjust or remove the feature based on user responses.
Microsoft began testing ads within Windows 11’s File Explorer last year, but later halted the experiment in beta. This is consistent with Microsoft’s decade-long history of experimenting with advertising within Windows.
Ads already appear on the lock screen and Start menu in Windows 10, so seeing them in Windows 11 is not unexpected. Feedback from Windows testers will determine whether these ads are included in the final version of Windows 11.
