This feature is rolling out today for Windows Insiders to test with devices running Android 9 or newer and a link to Windows apps version 1.24012* or newer. To turn it on, check your Bluetooth and mobile device settings menu, select Manage devices, and allow your PC to access your Android phone.
At this rate, Windows 11 should have Apple’s awkward AR reactions feature by 2026. Anyway, good news for those who have to use Windows.
The feature also supports Android tablets, and Microsoft’s version comes with a number of additional tweaks, including “switching between front and rear cameras, pausing streams on interruptions, and enjoying the effects provided by mobile mode.” (according to the blog post).
