Re:Monster is the wildest anime of 2024 you haven’t seen…and probably shouldn’t
There are a lot of good anime to check out during the Spring 2024 anime season, but there’s definitely one that you’re missing out on for good reason. The Spring 2024 anime schedule hopes to continue the strong momentum from the Winter 2024 season, as there is a ton of new anime that anime fans hope will reach the same heights they have experienced throughout the year so far. I’m here. But while many of these shows reach such heights with an impressive first few episodes, there’s one anime that’s garnered attention by going in the complete opposite direction.
you may have heard of it Re:Monster If you’ve ever looked into anime circles on social media. The infamous opening rap theme song has already started making waves for some of its awkward rhymes, but the fact that it’s one of the many isekai anime series on offer this spring takes things even further. is. However, after episode 3, Re:Monster Somehow it’s progressed even further to become one of the wildest shows of the season that you rightfully miss.

What is Re:Monster?
Re:Monster begins with a mercenary being stabbed to death by a mysterious woman in a mysterious futuristic city. When he woke up, he was reincarnated in a fantasy world as a goblin gobrow. During his first month of life, a gobrow steadily uses intelligence and knowledge from previous lives to evolve at a faster pace than the other goblin brothers around him. It also turns out that he has inherited an important ability from his previous life, a supernatural power that allows him to gain the power of what he eats.
Thus he spends his days feeding, training, and evolving to new levels alongside his brethren, making sure to eliminate the unpleasant parts of goblin life and culture. In his first three episodes of the series, Gobrow progresses to such a state, becoming a powerful hobgoblin with abilities more wild than all others around him. In theory, this isn’t the worst of an otherworldly idea. Some really weird ideas have been released over the years. But in reality it’s a completely different story.
It’s not that the animation is bad or the character designs are too wild, it’s just that this story has a lot going for it. Not only is there a layer of reincarnating someone who already has abilities, but there’s a fast-paced romance that progresses to a physical level within the first three episodes. Not only that, but these episodes also include an exploration of the harem. Gobrow is certainly an active protagonist, making for a pretty wild experience so far.
It’s difficult to talk Re:Monster This is not necessarily a program that I would recommend to others. It doesn’t stand out because it’s great, it stands out because it’s pretty wild in just a few episodes. It has a very bold presentation and is a totally baffling experience that fans are missing out on. Is there a good reason? Yes, honestly.
