DARTS sensation Luke Littler has revealed he has given up late-night kebabs.
Last month, he became the youngest player to reach the PDC World Darts Championship final at the age of 16, and became famous for mocking fast food.
His local takeaway, Hotspot in Warrington, offered him free kebabs for life after his amazing run and named it the ‘Luke the Nuke Special’ after him.
But Luke, now 17, said that as a professional athlete he has stopped eating late-night meals such as kebabs and burgers to protect himself.
He said of the takeaway:
“Darts players really get us what we want.”

When he started the Pro Tour, he said: “The manager said, ‘It might be 11 o’clock or 12 o’clock when you’re done, it’s all fast food.'” So he has to take care of himself, and he has to eat before playing. . Once you’re done, no matter when you’re awake, don’t eat. This is my new way of life. ”
He told the Times he wanted to stay fit to keep up with his grueling routine, adding: “I love darts so much that I think I’ll be like this for 10, 15 years.”
During an interview with The Times, the ace said that if he continues until he is the same age as Phil Taylor, his last appearance in the World Championship will be in 2065.
Littler responded as follows: “I played juniors for a long time in the old British Darts Federation.
“If I had enough, I might work for 10 or 15 years and retire.”
That means he can finish and dust himself off by the age of 27.
But for now, he’s happy to have signed a deal with Target Darts.
