Midwest Gaming Classic
The Midwest Gaming Classic will return April 5-7 at the Baird Center, 400 Wisconsin Avenue. It begins with a preview night on April 5th from 6pm to midnight (tickets are $45). The Classic will be held on April 6th from 10am to 8pm ($50) and Family Day on April 7th from 10am to 5pm ($25). Multi-day passes cost between $60 and $175. Glendale Open Sheepshead Tournament
The 28th annual Glendale Open Sheepshead Tournament will be held April 6 in the Nicolet High School cafeteria, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, Glendale. Registration begins at 10:30am. WMSE’s Rockabilly Chile Fundraiser
WMSE-FM (91.7) will host the 22nd Annual Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser at 11 a.m. April 7 at the MSOE Kern Center, 1245 N. Broadway. Attendees will be able to sample more than 40 varieties of his chili peppers provided by local restaurants and caterers. The first annual Pours for Parks, a beer festival that raises money for Milwaukee County Parks, will be held at Historic Pabst Brewery’s Best Place, 917 W. Juneau Ave., on April 7th from 12:30 to 3 p.m. A general admission session will be held featuring beer from 20 breweries. Tickets are $60. (VIP sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. cost $75.)
