“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia after 15 months of marriage.
Williams filed the petition Thursday in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court, according to documents obtained Friday by USA TODAY. Her application states that as her spouse, “she has the right to divorce (Mr. Guobadia) on the grounds that her marriage has irretrievably broken down and there is no prospect of reconciliation.” It’s dark.
Williams said in her application that she and Guovadia are “currently living in a state of genuine separation,” and asked the court to enforce a prenuptial agreement the couple signed on November 17, 2022, just days before their wedding. I’m asking you to. She also wants Mr. Guovadia to be ordered to pay “reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs” resulting from the divorce.
People first broke the news on Friday. USA TODAY has reached out to Williams’ representatives for comment.
