The Carabao Cup final will take place at Wembley on Sunday afternoon, when Liverpool and Chelsea will face off for their first silver medal of the season.
Jurgen Klopp has secured his final season with the Reds as Liverpool aim to win a record-extending 12th League Cup in a repeat of the 2022 final, which they won on penalties after an epic shoot-out could finish with a trophy. The Reds are also in contention for the Premier League title, and have also appeared in the FA Cup and Europa League, but have been hit by injuries ahead of their marquee match at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Chelsea responded well to last month’s 4-1 loss to Liverpool, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side picking up a point against Manchester City last weekend. The Blues are aiming to win their first domestic trophy since 2018 after losing on penalties to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup finals two years ago, and three consecutive defeats at Wembley.

What’s the team news?
Manager Mauricio Pochettino made no changes to Chelsea’s line-up, which won 1-1 in the Premier League last time out against Manchester City. The Blues are on track and likely to take the game to Liverpool.
Meanwhile, manager Jurgen Klopp made two changes to the Liverpool team that defeated Luton last time out. Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson replace Jarrell Quansah and Joe Gomez.
The big news is that Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez will not be able to play any role in the match.
